Alpine Hunting New Zealand - for the ultimate red stag hunt!

September 2009 Newsletter

Gidday from downunder!  Our last clients left us at the end of July in the middle of winter after another busy and successful season.  Since then the weather has improved, the grass is growing and everyone here has been pretty busy.  I've been catching up on the important things in life -  fishing and diving for crayfish.   Bruce and Jo bought a new house and are preparing for their wedding in November, Ann went to visit her parents in the UK with her 2 daughters, Colin visited his son and Granddaughter in Australia, Chris is hunting in Alaska, Donna has been catching up with friends and family, Shane Loveridge has been building his new home and our good friend Trevor is hunting in the States.

We did a late season Chamois and Tahr hunt with Gary and Mary Robins from California.  They had also booked in to fish for Blue fin tuna in the South Island, but the weather didn't turn right until the day they left (Murphy's Law), so hopefully they'll be back next year.

We continue to update the 'latest news' on the website, so keep checking regularly.  We'll have this seasons hunters and their animals online soon and keep a lookout for changes to the pricelist in the next couple of months.

Cheers, Shane

Sassy is still as keen as mustard to get out and help Shane
