I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful adventure we had at Alpine Hunting. I’ve never had more excitement in my life. The geographics were beautiful, the accommodations were unrivalled, the food was fabulous and the hunt was a dream come true for Judy and I. I have travelled many places but this trip by far was the most wonderful experience that I have had. Your staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable of their responsibilities…they were like a well oiled machine. It was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I can’t even begin to describe the excitement at seeing all the animals and antlers, it was simply awesome. I don’t think there is anything that we can say that I am certain all of your clients have not already said about Alpine Hunting New Zealand. What an outfit…from the foundation of any hunt which starts with the quality of the game animals hunted, you are at the top of your profession with what are obvious game management plans that are working to near perfection! The Lodge and equipment (planes, helicopters, quads, vehicles for transport, rifles, computer for emails, hot tub, open kitchen, giant walk-in coolers for the Game, etc.) are first rate and second to none and of course your entire team is absolutely the best in the industry. I really hope they all realise just how good they are in what they do and what a great environment they create for the individual hunter and families alike. It was great to have two other families in addition to our own family at the Lodge during the week and it really showed what a great family sport hunting is and how Alpine Hunting creates a family atmosphere amongst all the hunting parties and your entire team.

Dear Shane,
The Alpine Hunting ranch is the best vacation we have taken in the past 20 years. Arriving in the South Island in your private plane was fun and the helicopter ride over the glaciers was such a beautiful view from the sky. Our stay was short but sweet. We are off to the North Island where Shane Quinn has an eye for detail and the layout is such a classy well organised facility. My favourite experience was just sitting out on the deck in the evening, my favourite toddy, watching the sunset, listening to the roar, then Shane coming back to the Lodge in the helicopter bringing back our majestic Red Stag…what a sight to see. It was also impressive how Anne keeps everything running so smoothly - the entire staff make you feel at home and then there is the chef with his outstanding culinary skills just to top things off. I have to mention the boys who took time out of their busy day just to take me fishing at one of the most beautiful streams I’ve had the privilege to visit. But the best part is the smile on Richard’s face every time he tells friends about his hunting adventures. The eight days flew by so fast I couldn’t imagine a three day hunt. Thanks to all for such an awesome adventure.

I have been fortunate to hunt all over the world, and New Zealand rates at the top of the list. My experiences with Alpine Hunting in New Zealand, have been some of the best I have ever had hunting. Their Red Stags are second to none. I have brought my wife Robin and two sons on trips with Alpine Hunting, and as soon as my daughter is old enough, it's her turn.
Alpine Hunting is first class all the way. And what makes them stand out from the rest is their staff. The group has been together for some time, and its like hunting with family. The lodging and food is first rate, and I would recommend this "Adventure" to anyone. Shane Quinn does it right, and when you travel half way around the world, the last thing you want is excuses. You will find none here!

Dear Shane and the staff of Alpine Hunting, Just a short note to again express my appreciation for the most memorable hunt of a lifetime... the memories still linger in my mind of the total experience. Having flown three combat tours in my life, I don’t know of a bigger adrenalin rush during any flight than hunting Tahr and Chamois from your helicopter in the alpine mountains of the South Island.
