Arapawa sheep, feral pigs and goats were introduced by the early whalers in the early 1800s as a (captive) local food source. Over time, they have spread to almost all parts of New Zealand and developed into interesting and at times challenging sport game trophy alternatives for any South Pacific safari…especially bow hunters.
