All Covid related travel restrictions have been lifted and this is what you need to know about travelling to New Zealand from now on..
You DO NOT have to complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration
From Thursday 20 October 2022, you no longer need to complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) to enter New Zealand.
You DO need apply online for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) to enter New Zealand.
Request your NZeTA well in advance of your trip to New Zealand. It can take us up to 72 hours to approve your NZeTA. If you do not hold an NZeTA when you check in for your flight you will not be allowed to board.
An NZeTA costs:
NZD$9 for requests submitted using the app
NZD$12 for requests sbumitted on the website

Check your passport expiry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure date from New Zealand.
Where you must wear a face mask in New Zealand
- Doctors' clinics
- Pharmacies — but not those inside supermarkets
- Hospitals
- Urgent care services, such as after-hours clinics
- Dentists and oral health services
- Residential care for older people and people with disabilities
- Other health services such as optometrists and physiotherapists
