Coronavirus New Zealand Update
We are at Level 4 of New Zealand’s four-level COVID-19 alert system. It is likely Level 4 measures will stay in place for a number of weeks.
Alpine Hunting New Zealand is considered a non-essential business. The New Zealand Government has ordered all non-essential businesses to close until further notice. All of our staff have gone home and it is just Shane, Nicki, Liam, Andy, Reno & Missi (the orange cats) left at the lodge.
The New Zealand Government has placed temporary entry restrictions into New Zealand to assist with the containment of the COVID-19.
We continue to pay our staff in the hope that borders will open up soon and they can come back to work. We continue to monitor the situation in United States which in time will return to normal and red stag hunting will continue!

New Zealand has now been put onto Alert Level 4 which means we are in lockdown for the next four weeks and all non-essential businesses are now closed. New Zealand has gone from Alert Level 2 to Alert Level 4 in just 3 days and we ask that you be patient with us while we work through some strategies for Alpine Hunting New Zealand going forward. We are very aware that you are in exactly the same situation us and completely understand the economic and mental impact this is having on you, your friends and your families. Rest assured as soon as this Pandemic subsides we will be hunting again..
